User registry of Navitieto service. Criteria for registering is contractual relationship with provider of Navitieto service.
- Use of register data
Purpose of the registry is to uphold geographic data on client companies locations. Data is used to produce prearranged services and to deliver service to clients, to handle and to evolve client relations, for statistics and billing.
Data is also used on advertising, marketing and direct marketing between client and Navitieto and to focus marketing for clients. Client has right to decline direct marketing.
Controller has also right to publish collected data in print and in electronic services. Data can be used in national and international services.
- Information content of registry
Information of user registry:
- First name, last name and company name
- Business ID
- Streetaddress
- Postalcode
- Post office
- Municipality
- Industry
- Phone number
- Fax number
- Mobile phone number
- Email
- Clients contact person: Name, phone number and email
- Billing address - Informationa of user acts
Information gathered on use: use of service, search count and density and length of session.
- Regular data sources
Data is obtained from clients. Data can be gathered or updated from population register, business and community registers, department of statistics, credit information registry or other corresponding registry.
- Regular data supply or data transfer to EU or to European Economic Area
Information received from client are all public and therefor available for all other user of this service. Information can be released to certain parties if required by law.
- Safety of registry
Register does not include any physical material. User is allowed to see and update information that is given them only, administrator has access to all information in register. Users are identified with personal id and password and their access is recorded. Users also have personally set permissions. Personnel is bound by professional secrecy.
Communications security is bound by electric comunication privacy law and regulations of Finnish Communications Regulatory Authority. Information will be deleted from registry at the end of customer relationship, if its no longer needed.
- Right of inspection
As stated in Personal Data Act 26 § client has a right to request her/his information that is saved to registry. Request must be made in writen and signed and send to following address:
